Argus is a Pharmacy Benefits Administrator rather than Manager.
Functioning as an Administrator, Argus has helped us improve our services
to our members in these ways:
- Understand the relationship between rebates and formulary management.
Before taking action on the formulary, we have a stronger awareness
on the possible financial affects or impact to our members.
- Work in tandem to achieve a good end-result for our members.
- Manage formulary rather than dictating services. The final product
is a Preferred Drug List that manages drug spending while meeting
the needs for quality patient care.
- Make sure that we reach decisions from a cost perspective as well
as quality of patient care standpoint.
