The Argus Clinical Information Services team can assist you with implementing the right tools to help manage your business. One of our objectives in offering clinical information is improving quality of care through use of concurrent edits and reporting. Argus can help you identify high-risk patients to the physician and pharmacy. We also strive to help you manage utilization by implementing point-of-sale (POS) edits designed to decrease waste, enforce coverage guidelines, and automate prior authorizations and treatment protocols. |
Our Clinical Information Services group provides medication information
services to assist you in managing prescription drug costs. We offer
forecasting by means of an annual Pharmacy Trends Report that foreshadows
drugs coming to market in the upcoming year, clinical bulletins, and weekly
NDC file changes.
The Clinical Information Services team also provides customer-specific information designed to positively impact your bottom line. These cost containment strategies include the use of reporting, personalized Medication Utilization Evaluation (MUE), provider profiling, and the use of established step therapies.
