    Physicians will submit a prescription claim query which determines eligibility, drug coverage, plan limitations, and copay/coinsurance parameters. Argus will process the claim inquiry in a manner similar to current prescription processing, except the claim query will not finalize, accumulate to deductibles/benefit maximums, or add to DUR history.

    Physicians will no longer be required to maintain a library of current formularies. Within a few seconds, physicians can determine if the drug they selected is covered and who pays what portion of the cost. Improved formulary compliance by physicians and members leads to lower drug costs.

  • Resources
    The Argus POC model provides access to the best practice guidelines authored by a certified/accredited external source or those developed by the health plan, and links to relevant health resources.
