Overview
Argus' Training and Development team is committed to helping your employees
understand and effectively utilize our applications. Early in the implementation
process, our industry-leading trainers are at your site working to assess
your educational needs on our systems. Argus' industry-leading Training
and Development team works closely with both you and our Account Services
department to identify potential processes and procedures that may require
customization to address your unique business model. Our instructors demonstrate
their commitment to your success by providing course facilitation, written
documentation, and Web and computer-based tools to meet your training
needs. Overall, the Argus Training and Development team works diligently
to provide your employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to use
Argus’ powerful systems in the most efficient and productive manner.
Features
Argus Training & Development provides the following standard training
packages:
Implementation Essentials
The Essentials package starts with an evaluation of your existing
processes by providing a proactive consultation and needs assessment.
Then, in tandem with the account management team, our trainer works with
that knowledge throughout the implementation process to ensure your unique
learning needs are addressed.
As your implementation date draws near, the Argus trainer provides an
overview of Argus’ Integrated Pharmacy Network System (IPNS®).
Our trainers provide professional and interactive training using a variety
of mutually agreed upon methodologies.
Basic systems training demonstrates best practices for:
- navigating the system
- viewing membership eligibility
- enrolling members
- entering Preauthorizations
- entering Direct Member Reimbursements (DMRs)
- viewing claim history
- entering test claims and more
Advanced Implementation Training
In addition to the basic systems training, Argus trainers
help you build skills for using Argus’ benefit plans, DUR and other
advanced IPNS® functions.
In-depth instruction on Argus’ reporting tools is also available.
This training prepares you to create queries and analyze claims history
data. Upon completion, you will be able to produce reports that provide
information on:
- cost trends
- drug utilization
- member utilization
- claims and
- dollar volumes
System Release & Enhancement Support
The Argus trainers stay on top of enhancements to Argus’ Integrated
Pharmacy Network System (IPNS®). To support your transition to new
versions of IPNS®, the training team provides complimentary User Guides
and LIVE Meeting Webinars. Additionally, computer-based training (CBT)
tools can be developed to assist with training your employees on the system
enhancements.
